Memories are Made of This

Eight years and nearly 1,000,000 visitors.  By the end of the coming week, this site will have crossed that magic marker that distinguishes the occasional blogger from the serious blogger.  Thanks to all of you for this honor.  I hope to continue in this vein until my blood becomes blue.

Yee Haw.

Many, many thanks Marc. You have been a lantern in the darkness for many of us PERS Retirees.

Congratulations! You provide much needed information to us PERS retirees in the hinterlands of Oregon.

Many happy returns when the millionth flips up.

It has happened. Sometime between the late hours of St Patricks Day and now, the blog odometer hit 1,000,000. I am gratified and flattered. I never expected that the blog would keep going this long and that it would ever get this kind of readership. Thank you all for your kind support - moral and financial.

is the person who writes this blog the same guy I had as a teacher at PSU in the early seventies?

@woodrow69. Guilty as charged.
